Les Soliloques is an Art-Pop band based in Kingston (ON) with influences from Indie-Rock, Folk and Pop, a musical mélange that is often reminiscent of Feist, Francis Cabrel and Louis-Jean Cormier. To the band, a song’s purpose is analogous to that of the soliloquy in theatre; an internal monologue bound to reveal our most profound reflections. Since 2016, Les Soliloques experiment with sounds and textures, from accordion to trombone, from waltz to polyrythm. Fascinated by the thin line between hope and despair, Les Soliloques has recently released a single, La Parole which explores that theme.
